Andy Michael, a Gogglebox star, has passed on mature 61 after a short ailment, an assertion from Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for the benefit of his family has said.
The family's Gogglebox debut was in the main scene in 2013, however, they later reported that they were leaving the show in 2014 to permit Mr. Michael to run for Ukip in the overall political decision.
After he neglected to get the Hastings and Rye seat, the family returned for future scenes.
The assertion, given to the PA news office, said: "We are profoundly disheartened to share the death of Gogglebox star, Andy Michael, at 61 years old after a short disease.
"Andy spent away from the last end of the week with his family close by.
"Resigned hotelier Andy, who carried a lot of mind and understanding to Gogglebox, was one of the show's unique cast individuals, showing up in the absolute first scene in 2013.
"Dearest father to Katy, Alex, Pascal, and Louis, and treasured spouse of Carolyne, Andy was a much-cherished and regarded individual from the Gogglebox family, and he will be tragically missed.
"Our adoration and considerations are with Carolyne and the whole family. The family has requested security at this exceptionally miserable time".
Recently it was reported that Gogglebox star Mary Cook had passed on at 92 years old.
