THREE PERKS OF KEEPING QUIET

THREE PERKS OF KEEPING QUIET

Should we still conceal our progress to the world? No. Shouldn't we celebrate and be proud of our achievements? Yes. Don't we often have to answer for our actions with the announcement of our next move? Yes.

Sometimes we share our progress towards an answer that allows us to validate ourselves. While it is not always healthy, it is human nature to look for this answer from those we love, but what about strangers? Do we need their approval before we can prosper? If we don't get that recognition, are we going to be less successful? If yes, what is our definition of success? How do you live your life? For ourselves or for the rest of us?

Not everybody will like my progress. My accomplishments, failures, or lack of courage to create change can remind people of their inadequacies and insecurities. Most religions around the world accept a concept called “evil eye”—an evil eye from one envious or jealous person from another. The idea is that those harmful vibrations from the seer can affect the person being observed if they are not spiritually, mentally, and physically equipped or protected by their own vibrational field, or by a force of energy that is greater than them.

I'm talking about a case where I announced the good news to the world, so they would then become pear-shaped. Or, a time I spent with a friend I felt was always bitter about my accomplishments and then seeing my life flourish. Logically, when I keep things quiet, people don't know what part of me or my progress to tackle. People can't try to make me fall for things they don't know.

This does not mean that we should not sparkle without apologetically, or we should fear those around us. I'm just taking a moment to think about my intentions. Live my life for me, not everyone else's. If we continue to live for validation, imagine the amount of suffering we will face when we have no approval. Appreciation and admiration can be flattering, of course, but they will come naturally as we add value to the world and become a source of love.
